The summer work placement programme for students and graduates will be starting in May. During this time the GO Wales programme has hundreds of skilled individuals from all degree disciplines wanting to stay in Wales to develop their careers. Last year GO Wales organised around 700 work placements in all industries across Wales.
Placements normally last around ten weeks during which time a student or graduate would complete a project for your business. Small to Medium Sized Businesses are eligible to receive £90 per week towards the initial salary costs of employing an individual through the programme (£230).
GO Wales organises student work placements during the summer and graduate placements all year round.
We can help source individuals for any project of graduate level; it's free to use our recruitment services and you will receive help from your local Work Placement Coordinator to find the right person for you.
Previous projects include: developing a marketing strategy, environmental research, engineering, ISO Accreditation, and website development. There are lots of possibilities and we can help you to develop a project that will benefit your business.
