Businesses from across Pembrokeshire came together to attend a breakfast networking meeting hosted by Graduate Opportunities Wales.
The event, which was organised by The Business Network, took place on 7th July at the impressive Slebech Park Hotel, and gave businesses from the across the county the opportunity to learn more about funding and support available through the GO Wales programme.
GO Wales is funded by the European Union’s Convergence Fund and Welsh Assembly Government, and is part of a range of initiatives designed to encourage businesses in Wales to access and develop graduate level skills.
As well as a chance to network, the event also included presentations from key note speaker Andy Middleton from the St David’s based TYF group and Emma Williams from Bullock Consulting in Pembroke Dock, who discussed the benefits that graduate placements and training can bring to local businesses. Angela Lewis from GO Wales who also presented at the event said:
“GO Wales gives employers in Pembrokeshire an excellent opportunity to find out what graduate level skills can bring to their business. We also provide cash support to help businesses to provide further training and development to their graduate level employees.”
