Neil Simons

Media Production graduate Neil Simons from Swansea has taken part in a number of GO Wales Work Tasters to gain experience in the industry. Since then he has built up media contacts, worked on productions for the Ospreys Rugby television channel and gained experience on an S4C television programme.

GO Wales organised work experience for Welsh Language and Literature undergraduate Christian Kelsey at Welsh language development agency; Menter Iaith in Swansea for two weeks during the summer holidays.

Shine creative arts is a local Cardiff business that provides drama, dance and music classes to children of all ages and abilities throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas. In August 2011 shine creative arts ran its first week long Theatre School.

Emma-Jayne Halford was looking for a very specific type of work experience when she approached GO Wales, as an undergraduate of Ancient History Emma wanted something related to history that would give her the chance to make an informed decision about her future career.

Chris Wilding who is currently studying for a Business Economics Degree at Swansea University completed a Work Taster at Business Sense in Swansea last year. During the experience Chris gained an insight into the day to day operations of a small accountancy practice;
