GO Wales organised a Work Taster opportunity for Christina Deias at ITV Wales to gain experience in television media. Christina got involved with a number of diverse tasks during the two weeks that she spent at the studios. She explains;

Natalie Stewart; a student about to begin her final year in BA Hons Fine Art at the University of Wales, Newport has spent the summer undertaking work experience to boost her employability skills giving her an edge over other students. Nicola Porter was looking for work experience in a business consultancy when she approached GO Wales. She managed to secure a Work Taster with Ciotek; a business consultancy in Swansea. She spent time with the company one day a week over the course of a few weeks. We interviewed Nicola to find out more about her experience;

Shine creative arts is a local Cardiff business that provides drama, dance and music classes to children of all ages and abilities throughout Cardiff and the surrounding areas. In August 2011 shine creative arts ran its first week long Theatre School.

Chris Wilding who is currently studying for a Business Economics Degree at Swansea University completed a Work Taster at Business Sense in Swansea last year. During the experience Chris gained an insight into the day to day operations of a small accountancy practice;

Three students from Lampeter University have been involved in the production of a series of short films to promote this year’s National Eisteddfodd whilst on a GO Wales Work Taster with Golwg 360.

Sarah Drury wanted to gain experience in an environment relating to historic buildings and was particularly interested to learn more about what it’s like to work for the National Trust.
