SenseLogix™ is an award winning provider of energy reduction solutions (Products and Services) for the buildings market. We are supported by the Carbon Trust, as they believe we have developed a technology that can help provide substantial carbon savings for businesses and organisations.

 

What they do:

SenseLogix deliver robust, intuitive, hardware and software solutions designed to measure and manage electricity in commercial businesses, public sector, education and other office based environments, to eliminate electrical waste.

 

The Project:

SenseLogix Limited has an immediate opening for a Web Applications Developer. The successful candidate will play a key role in the creation and delivery of next generation, web based energy services.

To be successful, you will have knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, SOAP & RESTful web services and SOA Architectures.

 

You will be involved in the planning, research, development, test and deployment of new web-based energy services and products. You should ideally know how to build, deploy and maintain PHP driven web applications from the ground up, as well as modify, improve and expand existing code.


Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Development, deployment & maintenance of SenseLogix web applications (delivered to customers under a SaaS model)
  • Ensuring quality of work through development and implementation of QA procedures and standards
  • Outlining the work needed for new projects, accurately estimating time frames for work completion
Essential Requirements :
  • A good understanding of the PHP programming language, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript.
  • A good understanding of MySQL database use and development
  • Knowledge of SOA architectures and SOAP & RESTful web services.
  • Knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirements.
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating system (primarily Linux) and Apache.
  • An understanding of PERL and CGI (Common Gateway Interface) protocols
Expected Outcomes :

You will have developed a new web based energy services and products. You will have maintained and driven web applications ensuring quality throughout.
