Writemedia works in 4 main areas, the development of websites, 3d animation and developing projects, delivering analysis data alongside streaming video and deliver video conferencing, combining assets uploading and streaming video. What are your duties?

 

Writemedia are currently seeking a web developer with ASP.NET C#/VB.NET, Ajax, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript & MS SQL Server/T-SQL experience. The successful candidate will join a small talented team of developers working on a variety of web based solutions for clients using ASP.NET C#/VB.NET as well as XHTML, CSS & JavaScript technologies.

 

You must have proven experience of working with ASP.NET /C# or VB.NET/ XHTML/ CSS/ SQL Server/ T-SQL and JavaScript. Any exposure to Visual Studio 2005/ 2008/ Ajax/ ASP.Net 3.5 and SQL Server 2000/2005 would be a bonus. The role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their development career. You should be passionate about web development and keen to learn the latest technologies. You will possess the ability to work both independently and within a team and will have excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will be used to taking ownership of small development projects and focused on delivering quality solutions to a deadline with support from more experienced developers.

 

Essential Requirements :

To be considered for this placement you must be a graduate with experience in the skills listed above.

Expected Outcomes :

By the end of the placement you will have fully provided support currently needed by the developers at providing web based solutions for current clients at Writemedia and through doing so develop your own web development skills.
