This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design / Marketing graduate to work within a small publishing company just out side Carmarthen.

What are the main activities associated with the work placement?

You will be overseeing a design overhaul, to give the magazine a more contemporary feel, and visually appealing for a wider readership.

You will also be advising and assisting with a marketing strategy, aimed at raising the readership figures and sales, and assisting with the advertising sales, and looking at the potential and possibilities of sponsorship.

Who is the placement with?                           

Cyhoeddwyr Cambria Cyfyngedig / Cambria Magazine is the magazine that celebrates all things Welsh! It is a small independent business that runs from Nantgaredig, Carmarthen.

 

 

Essential Requirements :

Good language skills would be an asset, good computer skills - a working knowledge of Mac, Indesign and Photoshop

Desirable Requirements :

Knowledge of the Welsh language would be beneficial

Expected Outcomes :

You will raise the level of awareness of the magazine, and increase sales and income.
