Description :

The company distributes live TV and video to mobile phones and other mobile devices. The position is based in their Swansea office.

Role:

Working with the Marketing Manager to create marketing assets for online presence including: web banners, social networking assets (logos, backgrounds etc) and some basic video editing. This is a 10 week placement.

Key responsibilities

  • Using Photoshop to create graphical assets
  • Edit raw footage to create video clips and programming
  • Encode, upload and manage video content
  • Monitor channels to ensure maximum up-time
  • Help with other minor technical issues as may be required from time to time

Examples of work should also be submitted either via links in the application or an online portfolio

Essential Requirements :
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop – including examples of latest work
  • Knowledge of design for the web; and mobile a benefit
  • Some knowledge of simple animation in Adobe Flash e.g. animated banners
  • Some knowledge of video editing in Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong team player who enjoys collaborative working
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills
  • A self motivated person who can work in a demanding environment to strict time lines and own initiative whilst maintaining the standards of the company
  • Creative, innovative thinker with good problem solving skills
  • Meticulous and thorough with a healthy respect for quality and standard
Desirable Requirements :
  • Experience of Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge of video encoding standards
