The full-time Academy lasts for 6 weeks and consists of a 2-week residential training course followed by a period of work experience. It is then rounded off with a 2-day residential final conference at the end of Week 6.
Due to the way we are funded there are some restrictions around who is able to take part in the GO Wales Graduate Academy; please see here for more information. We welcome applications from candidates of any age with any degree.
As part of the Graduate Academy you will be required to submit three work-based assignments, using your learning from the training course, your reflections and actual information and evidence gathered from the work place where you are either employed or undertaking GO Wales work experience.
Tutorial support will be available up to the final conference. The assignment submission dates follow soon after the final conference and the end of the 6-week Academy.
Your work will be assessed and verified and, if successful, you will be awarded the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management.
