“Outperform UK Ltd is a management consultancy company based in Denbighshire.”

Tell us about your project?

“Outperform were seeking a graduate with Business Management/Marketing skills to launch a brand new image, I assisted the sales team with the re-branding of all of Outperforms sales and operational materials.”

Was the placement a success?

“From my point of view the placement was exactly what I needed for my professional development. The experience has given me a much clearer insight into the type of career path I want to focus on; the skills and knowledge I have gained are highly transferable so I feel I could make an impact in many work environments.”

What did Outperform gain as a result of your work placement?

“Outperform mentioned that I brought a lot of fresh ideas to the company. Part of my work placement involved viral marketing and social networking which led to an increase in sales and awareness.”

You mentioned skills, what skills have you developed?

“Time management and control are my most developed skills, and will help my studies when I go back to University writing assignments and researching.”

How do you feel about working in a small to medium sized business?

“From a career point of view I would like to start off working in a graduate scheme although I would be interested in working for an SME again in the future.”

How would you sum up your experience?

“My placement was an extremely valuable learning experience for me and has motivated me to go back to my studies and really perform to the best of my ability. I would like to thank my host company for giving me the chance to complete a placement which has furthered my work experience.”
