The GO Wales Freelancer Academy is a FREE 6 day programme funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Social Fund.
This unique programme is designed to help budding freelancers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress their business ideas.
A freelancer or (freelance worker) is a self-employed person working in a profession or trade in which full-time employment is also common; s/he is not employed continuously but usually hired to complete specific assignments. Fields where freelancing is especially common include journalism and other forms of writing, computer programming and graphic design, consulting, and many other professional and creative services. A freelancer can work at home, in the community, or at their client’s place of business and, being his or her own boss, has the freedom to work relatively independently.
The six day course will be split into two separate three day workshops with a three week interval in between. The course will be delivered by professional consultants, trainers and experienced freelancers.
