Most placements last for 10 weeks and are full time. You work for a local company on a pre- determined project. Placements can be in any business sector and any location in Wales. We can also organise more flexible placement split over different vacations.
We organise placements for students of any degree discipline from any institution and of any age. We only organise work placements in Wales.
You will be paid at least £230 per week while you are on placement.
A work placement is a formal period of work experience. You will be an employee of your host company while you are on placement. To take part, you will need to register with us. We will then do our very best to find you a suitable placement.
Many of our host companies like to interview a potential placee before they start work. After a successful interview, you start work on a project your host company has agreed with you in advance. You should expect to receive an induction and a visit from your Placement Organiser during your placement to monitor progress and answer any questions you may have.
