HR Harris and Partners employed Assiya Foot on an accountancy work placement. Assiya was hoping to gain experience of working in an accountancy practice, she has since been offered a full time position.
“The placement gave me an insight into an accountancy practice. I have learnt a lot about procedures, insolvency matters and management admin. I have also learnt the importance of skills like accuracy, punctuality - key skills in accountancy.”
“One of my learning objectives was to learn how to balance bank accounts; I achieved this as well as project management, communication skills, commercial awareness and problem solving.”
